Role Overview – Vice President, Family Office Relationships 

 

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Vice President, Family Office Relationships, to serve as a key point of contact for family offices, HNIs (High-Net-Worth Individuals), and boutique wealth management firms. This leadership role will focus on cultivating and strengthening relationships with existing Limited Partners (LPs), sourcing new investors, and aligning their objectives with Artha’s strategic offerings. 

 

This position requires an individual with exceptional interpersonal skills, a deep understanding of family office dynamics, and the ability to foster trust and collaboration. As the VP, you will act as a trusted advisor to LPs, delivering outstanding customer experiences, ensuring investor engagement, and driving strategic alignment to enhance Artha’s brand and position. 

 

Key Responsibilities 

 

1. Relationship Management and Investor Engagement 

  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with family offices, HNIs, and boutique wealth firms, positioning Artha as their preferred investment partner. 
  • Maintain a keen focus on customer delight, ensuring investors experience exceptional service at every touchpoint. 
  • Track investor requests across communication channels and ensure timely resolutions or escalate them to the appropriate team within Artha. 
  • Maintain comprehensive records of LP preferences, providing tailored co-investment and fund investment opportunities aligned with their goals. 

 

 

2. Strategic Engagement and Facilitation 

  • Facilitate periodic meetings between LPs, the Principal, and the Managing Partner across different cities to foster transparency and trust. 
  • Lead the planning and execution of key investor events, such as Artha Unplugged, AGMs, Artha Day, and Quarterly Update Calls

 

3. Reporting and Communication Excellence 

  • Oversee the creation and delivery of LP reports, including newsletters, quarterly updates, and annual reviews, ensuring they adhere to: 
  • Promised timelines and milestones. 
  • Artha’s brand guidelines, tone, and professional standards. 
  • A consistent and sophisticated look-and-feel that reflects Artha’s reputation. 
  • Collaborate with the internal team to ensure that all investor communications are seamless, data-driven, and engaging. 

 

4. Market Insights and Investor Alignment 

  • Keep abreast of market trends, industry updates, and regulatory changes to align Artha’s offerings with investor needs and preferences. 
  • Build a strong understanding of investor investment preferences to proactively present relevant opportunities. 

 

5. Operational and Team Leadership 

  • Eventually oversee and lead a team of junior team members, ensuring their development aligns with Artha’s objectives. 
  • Support the strategic operational aspects of investor relations, ensuring smooth workflows and adherence to key performance metrics. 

 

Qualifications & Requirements 

 

Educational Background 

  • An MBA in Finance or Chartered Accountancy is mandatory.  
  • A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in investor relations, private wealth management, family office engagement, or boutique financial services. 
  • Demonstrated success in building relationships with family offices, UHNWIs, or boutique wealth firms. 

 

Key Competencies 

  • Relationship Management Expertise: Proven ability to build trust, foster relationships, and act as a trusted advisor to high-profile investors. 
  • Financial Knowledge: Strong understanding of private equity, venture capital, and alternative investment strategies, including familiarity with AIFs. 
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, Pipedrive) and marketing automation platforms. 
  • Communication Mastery: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to craft and deliver compelling pitches, presentations, and reports. 
  • Leadership and Initiative: A self-starter with the ability to work independently, manage complex relationships, and lead a team effectively. 

 

Compensation & Benefits 

  • Annual CTC: ₹21 lakhs (₹18 lakhs paid monthly + ₹3 lakhs as an annual retention bonus). 
  • Incentives: Attractive success fees based on capital raised. 
  • Carried Interest & Performance Bonuses: Eligibility for carry and performance-linked bonuses after 12 months. 
  • ESOP Eligibility: Participation in the ESOP pool after completing one year with Artha.
