Job Title: Associate - Venture Capital
Location: Lower Parel, Mumbai
Position Overview:
The Associate - Investment will play a pivotal role in supporting the fund management activities of the FME. This individual will assist in the evaluation, execution, and monitoring of investment opportunities across various sectors. The role requires a deep understanding of financial markets, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive due diligence and financial analysis of potential investment opportunities.
- Assist in the preparation of investment memoranda, pitch decks, and other relevant documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
- Monitor portfolio investments, tracking performance, and providing regular updates to senior management.
- Support the structuring of investment vehicles in compliance with IFSCA regulations and ensure alignment with the strategic objectives of the FME.
- Engage with both domestic and international investors, providing insights and responding to queries regarding fund performance and strategy.
- Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to ensure all fund activities adhere to regulatory requirements.
- Participate in investor meetings, presentations, and negotiations as required.
Qualifications:
- Education: Chartered Accountant (CA) is strongly preferred, but we will consider MBAs in Finance with relevant work experience.
- 4-5 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, venture capital, or fund management.
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Familiarity with the regulatory environment of GIFT City and IFSCA is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail.
Compensation:
- CTC: ₹21 lakhs per annum (₹18 lakhs paid monthly + ₹3 lakhs annual confirmed bonus).
- Performance Bonus: Additional performance-based incentives.
